RENO — After a 2-0 start to the season, the University of Nevada men’s basketball team moved up one spot to sixth in the latest Associated Press poll released Monday. The No. 6 ranking is the highest in school history. The previous high was seventh in the preseason poll.
The Wolf Pack opened the season with two convincing home wins, 86-70 over BYU and 83-61 over Pacific.
The Pack has two more home games as part of a four-game homestand to start the season, hosting Little Rock on Friday at 8 p.m.
On Monday, Nov. 19, Nevada takes on Cal Baptist at 7 p.m. at Lawlor Events Center. Both games are part of the Las Vegas Holiday Invitational.
