“As a coach it is fascinating to watch the girls come into their own on the court. These girls are a family now and their ability to lift each other up is awesome. We are growing a unique volleyball program at SLHS that is only going to keep getting better,” Sierra Lutheran coach Naomi DiMartino said.

Sierra Lutheran also beat Sage Ridge 25-13, 25-20, 25-21.

Kati Boogman had 4 attacks and 5 digs, Lizzie Loflin had 4 serves and 2 digs, Brie Wiles has 4 serves with 1 ace and 7 serve receptions and Rosalie Antonucci had 2 attacks, 5 digs, 5 serves with 2 aces for the Falcons.

“We traveled to NNJ gym in Reno; this is a great volleyball facility. The athletes continue to show a commitment to growing their skill sets,” DiMartino said.

Sierra Lutheran also beat Oasis 25-21, 25-19, 17-25, 25-21

“While Oasis isn’t a sanctioned game as their program is finishing its probationary period, they gave us a run for our money.

This team gets better every year and SLHS looks forward to the end of their probation as they have a lot to offer. Playing high level teams makes our girls play at a higher level, great fun for a coach to watch,” DiMartino said.

CHS tennis players honored
