Fallon defeated Sparks, 18-3, Friday in a Northern 3A softball game played in the Rail City.

The Lady Wave banged out 12 hits in downing the Railroaders to improve to 4-3 in league and 5-8 overall. Fallon led Sparks 1-0 for the first three innings before exploding for 17 runs in the fourth inning.
Sparks didn’t help its cause by committing five errors in the game.
Aspen Mori and Shaylee Coldwell drove in seven runs between them. Mori ripped a double and triple and drove in four runs, while Coldwell homered and had three RBIs.
Catcher Lorynn Fagg led the Wave with four hits including a double. Karle Hitchcock had two hits including a double, while Ashely Agaman had two hits, and Savana Manha and Shaylee Fagg each had a single.
Gaby Winkler picked up the win by limiting Sparks to three hits. She fanned seven and walked one.
Earlier in he week, Reed shut out Fallon 6-0. The Raiders scored a run each in the second, fourth and sixth innings and three runs in the fifth.
Reed took advantage of four Fallon errors.
Fallon had two hits, a double from Lorynn Fagg and a single from Agaman, who was also the losing pitcher.
Fallon played at Winnemucca Tuesday and travels to Spring Creek for single games on Friday and Saturday.
