Shane Lambert House April 15, 1972 ~ August 7, 2019

Shane Lewis Lambert, known to family and friends as Shane House, passed away peacefully in Fallon, Nevada, the evening of August 7, 2019.

Shane was born in Lovelock, Nevada, on April 15, 1972. When he was three, he became a member of the House family and moved to Fallon. Shane was born with cerebral palsy and although he was physically impaired, he was gifted with great intelligence and a wonderful sense of humor. Shane attended school in Churchill County and was instrumental in getting services for special needs children in the Churchill County School District. While attending CCSD his longtime aide was Raylene Friel, whom he adored.

As a young adult, Shane traveled extensively with his parents from the Pacific to the Atlantic, getting to see icebergs up close in Alaska, the Space Shuttle Discovery launch at the Kennedy Space Center, and the colors of Fall in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. He loved the Grand Canyon and camping trips to the family cabin in the Sierra's. He attended Northwest Mining Conferences with his step-father and met people from all over the world.

Shane was a positive influence for anyone who met him and was loved by everyone who had the privilege to know him. He was cherished by his family from his parents to the youngest of his nieces and nephews. As one of his nieces said upon hearing of his passing, "we were all blessed because of Shane, he had us, and we had him."

The family would like to thank Dr. Musick and Dr. Ridenour, Physician Assistant Vivian Graham, the nurses, ambulance crew and the staff at Banner Hospital for their kind and professional care of Shane.
