Prunty strong again for Carson High ski team

Brynn Prunty had another outstanding showing to lead a solid effort by the Carson High girls ski team in the Tahoe Basin Ski League on Tuesday in the giant slalom at Alpine Meadows.

Prunty placed 15th, finishing her two runs in 1:13.02 (36.21, 36.81). Carson finished fifth as a team with 133 points behind Douglas (138), South Tahoe (165), North Tahoe (209) and Truckee (211).

Also for Carson, Hailey Coe took 21st in 1:22.04, Bella Bertrand was 28th in 1:31.24, Veronica Burson was 31st in 1:35.87 and Nina Coe was 33rd in 1:47.06.

For the Carson boys, Trevor Castillo was 24th in 1:15.17 and Asher Koch was 32nd in 1:33.22.
