Carson City Rifle and Pistol Range to be open Sundays only

Effective immediately the Carson City Rifle and Pistol Range will be open Sundays only from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. until further notice. The Range will continue to be free to the public and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The city sincerely regrets the inconvenience created by this temporary schedule, and is appreciative of the understanding from responsible gun owners who recognize the city’s obligation to the public in promptly and diligently addressing safety concerns. The city also appreciates the efforts of the Carson Rifle and Pistol Club and the public’s cooperation in ensuring safety.
