Carson City’s Silver State Gymnastics Level 7 Senior Division team won the 38th annual Flips Invitational on Saturday in Reno. Silver State beat teams from across the country.

“Once again our girls performed at a peak level,” Silver State coach David Lester said. “It was their combined efforts that won them the first place level 7 team award.”

Results for the team were:

Emily Lewis was second on bars, beam, floor, and won second place all-around (AA); Elle Liebendorfer tied for third on vault, was third on bars and the AA; Eviana McGowan was second on vault and first on bars; Eliana Hollar tied for third on vault, and was third on floor.

The meet continues Monday with Silver State’s Xcel team competing.
