A. M. “Marv” Young

Marv Young, 73, died at home in Carson City on February 26, 2019 from emphysema. Marv was married to Sue for 31 years. He is survived by Sue and stepson Bob Ryser (Katherine); 4 grandchildren: Laura Swenson, Holly Cripe, Nolan and Lilly Ryser. He is also survived by his brother Steve. He is predeceased by his parents, brother Gary and stepdaughter, Patricia Cripe. Marv worked for Nevada Department of Taxation and SIIS. He partnered with Sue in operating Sue’s Garden at local Farmer’s markets. He was well cared for by Laura, Juliette, Julie and Natalie of Kindred Hospice for the past 15 months. Fitzhenry’s Carson City is in charge of arrangements.
