After playing a cat-and-mouse game for the first four innings, the Lady Wave softball team scored five runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to hang a 12-7 loss on Dayton Friday at the Edward Arciniega Athletic Complex.
Ashley Agaman pitched the entire game, picking up her win for Fallon, which improved to 1-2 overall and in the Northern 3A. She allowed seven hits and fanned seven. Dayton fell to 2-1 in league.
Dayton took a 3-0 lead with a run in the first and two more in the second inning. Julie Rogacs drove in the first run.
The Wave responded with five runs in the third inning off Caleigh Onsott, who walked three Fallon batters. Fallon added two runs in the fourth inning
Lorynn Fagg and Aspen Mori each batted in two runs in the game, and Savana Manha knocked in three runs. MacKenzie Fish led Fallon with three hits.
Rain postponed Fallon’ second game on Saturday. The two teams made up the game on Monday, and results will be online.
