After appearing in their first doubles state tournament together as seniors, Carson High’s Bradley Wiggins and Eric Tomita were named as the 4A Northern Region boys doubles team of the year.
Wiggins and Tomita dropped just one set over the course of the regular season and 4A Northern Region doubles tournament.
The two were also selected to the first team doubles team as well for their efforts over the 2019 campaign.
On the girls’ side, three members of the Senator team earned honorable mention all-region awards Tuesday.
Alexsandra Knowlton, Isela Rodriguez and Rachel Wolz all earned the distinction of being named honorable mention to the girls 4A Northern Region team for their play this season.
Kowlton and Rodriguez finished their senior seasons with a 10-18 record in doubles sets while Wolz picked up the honorable mention nod as a freshman.
Both coach of the year awards were selected out of Reno High School with Madeleine Garcia and Craig Gorbach winning the award for their respective girls and boys teams.
