  Richard L. Martinez, 73, died unexpectedly on the 20th of September 2019 at Carson City. Richard was born on December 23, 1945 in New York. He is survived by his wife Lilia Martinez, his children and grandchildren.

Richard spent his life in the service of Law Enforcement. He was a golf enthusiast and organized fundraising golf tournaments for the Veteran's of Foreign Wars and the Republican Party. Richard loved traveling, fishing, hunting and target shooting and could often be found enjoying time with his family and his dogs.

Family and friends are welcome to attend the Celebration of Life and Funeral Service. Information regarding services can be found at www.fitzhenrysfuneralhome.net.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Veteran's of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 8660 in Dayton.

Arrangements are in the trusted care of by Fitzhenry's Funeral Home.
