A Burbank, Calif., couple has been identified as the victims found slain by the side of Highway 395 on Monday morning.

William Adrian Larsen, 35, and Yesenia Larsen, 30, were found around 6:30 a.m. along the side of the highway about 10 miles north of Bridgeport.

The discovery prompted the closure of the highway for 19 hours while Mono County investigators examined the scene.

William Larsen was reportedly involved in the disappearance of a Redding, Calif., man back in June.

According to an article and video published by 420 Magazine, Larsen allegedly set up a $400,000 marijuana deal involving Jered Stefansky, who has been missing since June 19.

Stefansky was allegedly on his way to Carson City, according to the magazine.

Stefansky was supposed to meet his connection at a Mound House warehouse, according to his mother who was interviewed by a true-crime video blogger. He was driving a 2019 Nissan Versa he’d rented. She said that his cell phone and the vehicle have never been located.

She hired a private investigator to help find her son.
