All services have been restored to the Douglas County, Library and Sheriff’s Office websites.

Anyone experiencing further technical difficulties, should call the Douglas County Manager’s Office (775) 782-9821 and report the issue.

“Presence, CivicLive, and Talentova webservices in Intrado’s Toronto processing facility became unavailable due to a firmware defect in the platform’s solid-state drives, resulting in largescale service unavailability,” the company said.

Five days after the vendor operating Douglas County’s websites suffered an outage, CivicLive is continuing to experience difficulties with several sites it hosts.

Despite having the website down, residents can still access the county’s agenda and meeting portal at http://douglascountynv.iqm2.com/Citizens/Default.aspx

The outage affects the county, library and sheriff’s websites.

“We’re still working to resolve the server issues impacting several of our client’s websites,” Intrado Corp. posted to its website. “Our staff is working to find a solution as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience and apologize for the inconvenience.”

CivicLive is also the website vendor for Arlington, Texas; Aurora, Colorado; Davenport, Iowa; Columbia Tennessee; Hamilton County, Ohio; Rocky Mount, North Carolina; Sierra Madre, California; Blind River, Ontario; and Clearfield City, Utah to name a few. There is currently no word on what type of outage caused the website failures.

“We remain committed to staying in communication with the vendor and providing you with a status update on restoration.”

Information about the County and County updates will still be posted to the County Social Media Channels.
