Domestic dispute results in two deaths

 A father and stepson are dead after an altercation led to a shooting on Monday night.
Douglas County deputies were called to La Mirada Court in northern Carson Valley for a report of gunshots at around 6:20 p.m.
The first deputy on scene reported a man in his 70s was dead and the stepson was critically injured. The second man died a short time later.
Minden resident Gregory Davidson and David Freshwater, 57, were identified as the deceased by the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
A witness to the incident was unhurt.
It is believed the two men were the only ones involved in the shooting. 
Sheriff's officials say there is no threat to the general public. Douglas County Sheriff’s Office investigators are examining the scene, and the probe into the shooting is ongoing.
