Shoe Tree Brewing will celebrate a grand opening noon to 9 p.m Saturday of its Minden outlet in the Ironwood Center.
The brewer has been open next door to Ironwood Cinemas for around a month.
The party will have live music, the Fire Truck Outdoor bar from Big Daddy’s Bike and Brew, and yard games. Music will be supplied by local musicians Jen Scaffidi, Michelle Belle, and Robbie Jewett.
“We are so excited to be open in the Valley, the community has been great and welcomed us with open arms,” said owner and Brewmaster Jeff Young. “We are proud to say we will be donating a portion of the proceeds from the day’s sales and the property owner will be donating the rent from the entire building that day to the China Springs Youth Camp to give back to community.
Owner Paul Young said Shoe Tree will feature locally brewed craft beer.
“We are proud to be bringing locally brewed craft beer to the Valley,” Young said. “We can’t wait to serve this great community beer brewed for them.”
Shoe Tree Brewing opened its first location in Carson City in 2017 and has won more than 20 international and national awards for their brews. They offer beer to drink onsite in their taproom or patio, cans, crowlers and growlers to go. They are open now noon to 9 p.m. daily.
Ironwood Cinemas 8 next door opened last month and is showing movies on all screens. For showtimes, visit ironwoodcinemas.com
