Public Hearing
A meeting of the Douglas County Planning Commission will be held
on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 1:00 pm, in the Douglas County
Commissioner Meeting Room at the Historic Courthouse, 1616 Eighth
Street, Minden. The Planning Commission reserves the right to: take
items in a different order; combine two or more agenda items for
consideration; remove items from the agenda; and/or delay discussions
relating to an item on the agenda at any time.
The application(s) below will be considered under the Public Hearing
portion of the meeting. The Agenda and Staff Reports will be online

For possible action. Discussion on Ordinance 2021-1588, a zoning text
amendment to amend Chapter 20.622 of the Douglas County Code
related to Vacation Home Rentals within the Tahoe Township, and other
related matters.

For Possible Action. Discussion on Ordinance 2021-1587, a zoning
text amendment to amend Title 20, Chapters 20.600 (Golf Courses)
and Chapter 20.691 (Penalties and Enforcement Fees), to add a
new section 20.691.350 requiring a maintenance plan for closed
golf courses and increasing public nuisance fees from $125 to $250
for residential properties and from $125 to $750 for non-residential
properties.

For possible action. Discussion on Ordinance 2021-1589, a zoning text
amendment to amend Title 20.560, Building Permit Allocation System,
including changes to the rollover of unused building allocations,
limits to the use of the existing project and individual pools, changes
to eliminate banking and borrowing, as well as requiring a review of
decennial census data and its effect on the future number of allocations
to be distributed, and other related matters.
