Genoa, Nev. — Lake Tahoe school buses will be picking up Tramway, Upper Kingsbury Village and North Benjamin Drive students at the main stops only about 90 minutes later than scheduled.

There are road controls over Kingsbury and on Highway 50 this morning as flurries are falling across Douglas County. Highway 395 through the Pinenuts was clear at 6 a.m. but it was snowing at Double Spring Flat, so be prepared for that to change.

Douglas County Search and Rescue responded to Hot Springs Mountain around 4 p.m. Saturday to rescue a motorcyclist who got stuck on the side of the hill somehow. They were working it well into the evening.

There are a few flurries down in the Valley this morning, but as of 6 a.m. nothing spectacular. There’s a chance of snow until 11 a.m. and then some snow showers. Today’s high temperature is supposed to hit 40 degrees with the wind 10-15 mph shifting northwest this afternoon and gusting to 25 mph.
