Three Montanans have been taken into custody on warrants accusing them in a double homicide of a California couple north of Bridgeport.
Bradley Kohorst, 35, Cory Spurlock, 33, and Orit Oged, 32, all of Missoula, have been taken into custody.
Kohorst was arrested in Phoenix on Monday, while Spurlock and Oged were arrested in Missoula today.
The bodies of victims William and Yesenia Larsen, of Burbank, were discovered early on Nov. 9, 2020, by a snowplow driver about 10 miles north of Bridgeport.
Mono County Sheriff Ingrid Braun said the investigation revealed that several former business associates of the victims were connected to the deaths.
“Every member of the Mono County Sheriff’s Office played a part in solving this crime,” Braun said. “Our Investigators worked tirelessly to find justice for the families of William and Yesenia Larsen. This investigation proved to be complex and required the assistance of local, state and federal partners. We especially recognize the California Department of Justice – Special Operations Unit, whose guidance and direct support was invaluable.”
Braun thanked several agencies for their help in solving the murders.
All three are awaiting extradition back to Mono County for trial.
