Barbara Gustafson's work is on display at the Copeland Gallery through December.
Carson Valley Arts Council presents artist Barbara Gustafson at the Copeland Gallery in Minden starting Tuesday through Dec. 30. Gustafson’s work includes oils, oceans, and still life. The exhibit can be viewed Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Her work will be available for purchase.
The Council will host an artists' reception for Gustafson 1-3 p.m. Nov. 13. The reception is free and open to the public.
Gustafson’ said her passion for art has connected her with many talented teachers over the years; all of whom have inspired her to deeper levels of expression and to explore her gift as an artist. In addition to the beauty of landscapes, she said she has discovered a real love of painting children and animals, especially their expressive eyes and faces.
