An early morning rainstorm brought .81 inches of precipitation along the foothills of Carson Valley.
Gauges located near the Fay Luther Trailhead and in Genoa both recorded four-fifths of an inch of rain.

Even so, rain was reported across the eastern slope of the Central Sierra with 1.09 inches recorded near Meyers.
The warm storm sent snow levels well up the mountains with Palisades Ski Base reporting 7 inches of snow at 8,000 feet and 2 inches 6,700 feet.
Mammoth Mountain reported 9 inches of snow at 11,053 feet.
Roads were wet at Lake Tahoe but never saw significant snow at Lake level.
Road controls over the passes were limited to Mount Rose.
