Public Hearing
A hybrid meeting of the Douglas
County Vacation Home Rental (VHR) Advisory
Board will be held on Wednesday, April
27, 2022 at 1:00 pm, in the Douglas County
Commissioner Meeting Room at the Historic
Courthouse, 1616 Eighth Street, Minden and
on Zoom®.
Agenda items may be taken out of
order, may be combined for consideration,
or may be removed from the agenda at any
time. All items designated “for possible action”
may include discussion by the Vacation
Home Rental (VHR) Advisory Board and they
may take action to approve, modify, deny,
take “no action,” or continue the item.

For possible action. Discussion on
a Special Use Permit application to obtain
a Tier 3 Vacation Home Rental Permit. The
subject application is for a 6 bedroom home,
12 person occupancy, located at 115 Meadow
Dr. Stateline, NV. The owner is Arthur Frank
Kerckhoff, who currently has a Douglas
County issued VHR Permit, Account No.
08400450 (APN: 1318-25-514-020).
For possible action. Discussion on
a Special Use Permit application to obtain
a Tier 3 Vacation Home Rental Permit. The
subject application is for an 8 bedroom home,
16 person occupancy, located at 448 Quaking
Aspen Ln. Stateline, NV. The owners are Andrew
& Brandi Brewer , who currently have a
Douglas County issued VHR Permit, Account
No. 08401893 (APN: 1319-30-712-006).
For Possible action. Discussion on
an appeal filed by Matthew Kvancz to contest
the $5,000 fine issued relative to Notice and
Order and Assessment of Civil Penalty for
renting without a current VHR Permit issued
in Code Enforcement Case Number 22-
000038, located at 1262 Lincoln Circle. (APN:
1418-34-112-002).
For Possible action. Discussion on
an appeal filed by Matthew Kvancz to contest
the $20,000 fine issued relative to Notice and
Order and Assessment of Civil Penalty for
renting without a current VHR Permit issued
in Code Enforcement Case Number 22-
000053, located at 1262 Lincoln Circle. (APN:
1418-34-112-002).
