Tom Rigney & Flambeau - Electrifying Roots Music

 The final Carson Valley Arts Council concert of the season will feature Tom Rigney and Flambeau on 7 p.m. May 13 at the CVIC Hall in Minden.

Rigney is one of the premier roots music fiddle players on the planet. 

His band specializes in Cajun two-steps, Blues, New Orleans grooves, Boogie Woogie piano, ballads and waltzes. 

Much of the repertoire is composed by Rigney, but they mix in a few classics from the Cajun New Orleans songbook. 

Band members include Tom Rigney on violin and vocals, Caroline Dahl on piano, Anthony Paule on guitar, Sam Rocha on bass, and Brent Rampone on drums.

The concert is at 7 p.m. May 13, at the CVIC Hall in Minden. 

Advance tickets are $23; $25 at the door; and kids under 18 are free. Tickets are available for purchase online at www.cvartscouncil.com, by phone at 775-782-8207, or at the Copeland Cultural Arts Center, 1572 US Hwy 395, Minden.
