On Aug. 28, the team at Carson Valley Veterinary Hospital will host a ceremony to celebrate the start of construction on their new state-of-the-art facility, just a few miles from their current location.
Having spent over 30 years in their current building, the staff anticipate opening their new doors sometime in 2023.
Established in 1955, veterinarians and staff at Carson Valley Veterinary Hospital have served the greater Carson Valley community for more than half a century. Under the leadership of Dr. Cameron Ross and Dr. Jim Nelson, the hospital is one of the only facilities currently offering same-day and urgent care appointments in an industry in high demand.
The new facility, located less than a 10-minute drive away from the current location, will feature a much larger building that includes additional exam rooms, more spacious treatment area, three times the size of their current surgery suite, separate entrances for ER / urgent care and general practice services and design elements to enhance the client and patient experience.
“It has been an honor work this hospital which has served the Carson Valley pet community for over 60 years,” said Dr. Ross. “Breaking ground on the build of our new hospital signifies our commitment to providing progressive and compassionate care for the next 60 years!”
The groundbreaking is 4 p.m. Aug. 28 at 1525 Charlotte Way, Gardnerville. More information, www.carsonvalleyvet.com
