Public Hearing
A meeting of the Douglas County Board of County Commissioners will be held December 15, 2022, at 10:00 am, in the Douglas County Commissioner Meeting Room at the Historic Courthouse, 1616 Eighth Street, Minden.
The Board reserves the right to take items in a different order, combine two or more agenda items for consideration, remove items from the agenda, and/or delay discussions relating to an item on the agenda at any time. The item(s) below will be considered under the Public Hearing portion of the meeting:
For possible action. Discussion on a whether to uphold or overturn the VHR Advisory Board’s denial of a Tier 3 Special Use Permit for a Vacation Home Rental (VHR). The subject application is for a 7-bedroom home, 14-person occupancy, located at 395 Sherwood Drive, Stateline, NV 89449. The owners are Timothy and Olga Alexander, who have a Douglas County VHR Permit, Account No. 08401966 (APN# 1318-23-710-060).
For possible action. Discussion on whether to uphold or overturn the VHR Advisory Board’s denial of a Tier 3 Special Use Permit for a Vacation Home Rental (VHR). The subject applications is for a 10-bedroom home, 20-person occupancy, located at 1211 Highway 50, Glenbrook, NV 89413. The owner is the Joey Max Laub, who has a Douglas County VHR Permit, Account No. 08401823 (APN# 1418-34- 202-007).
