Public Hearing 

A meeting of the Douglas County Board of Commissioner will be held on December 15, 2022 at 10:00 am, in the Douglas County Commissioner Meeting Room at the Historic Courthouse, 1616 Eighth Street, Minden. The Board reserves the right to: take items in a different order; combine two or more agenda items for consideration; remove items from the agenda; and/or delay discussions relating to an item on the agenda at any time. 

The application(s) below will be considered under the Public Hearing portion of the meeting. The Agenda and Staff Reports will be online prior to the meeting https://www. douglascountynv.gov – click on agendas and minutes. 

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR DISCUSSION OF POSSIBLE STATE CDBG APPLICATION 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Douglas County will conduct a public hearing in order to discuss comments received on potential applications for funding under the next fiscal year’s (July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024) State Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program and to select and rank projects to move forward with a full application to be submitted to the State CDBG Program. The purpose of this public hearing is to discuss comments received on potential applications and approve and rank applications prior to submittal to the State. 

If you require special accommodations to participate in the public hearing, please contact the Planning Department in writing at PO Box 218, Minden, NV 89423 or by calling 775-782-6217 at least 20 hours in advance. 

If you are unable to attend the public hearing, you may direct written comments to Lucille Rao, Community Development Department at P.O. Box 218 Minden, NV 89423, by email lrao@douglasnv.us or you may telephone her at 775-782-6218. In addition, information is available for review at the above address between the hours of 9:30 am to 4 pm Monday-Friday.
