Kingsbury Grade reopened at around 3:30 p.m. after being closed for two hours on Monday afternoon.

A traffic collision closed Kingsbury Grade about halfway up the Carson Valley side at around 1:20 p.m.

The collision involved two vehicles near a shady curve about six miles up the Grade.

According to reports from the scene, a van lost control on the curve and flipped onto its side injuring at least one person.

The Nevada State Police reported the collision as an injury.

East Fork medics and firefighters and Douglas County deputies responded.

The Grade was closed at Foothill Road and the top.

It was the second vehicle wreck along the Sierra front in 40 minutes on Monday.

A 24-foot box truck went off the side of Highway 88 near the intersection with Diamond Valley Road around 12:40 p.m.

The truck was lying on its side 50-100 feet off the road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

No injuries were reported as a result.
