The Nevada Agricultural fair will be at the Douglas County Fairgrounds this weekend.
On Friday there will be livestock shows beginning at 8 a.m. followed by a pee wee championship at 11 a.m. There will also be horse judging and a skill-a-thon at 1 p.m.
Saturday will feature showmanship classes at 8 a.m. There will be a market poultry show at 11 a.m. followed by a poultry showmanship at 11:30 a.m. At 1 p.m. round robin will be held where each person must show all the animals. At 4.pm. the market livestock auction will kick off.
Sunday, at 8 a.m. there will be a youth and adult horse show and youth breeding show.
MAYHEMilition begins tonight at the Douglas County Fairgrounds to support the Nevada Agricultural Fair.
Gates open for all events a 6 p.m. with events starting at 7 p.m.
On Friday and Saturday night there will be live music performed by Huckleberry Road.
Tonight, starts with lawnmower races with a Mario Kart twist. Then Tug-O-War will be taking place featuring trucks, SUV’s, UTV’s and Semi-Trucks. There will also be pit bike racing featured tonight and Saturday.
There will be a raffle held to win a Derby Car and be a participant in Friday’s Demolition Derby.
On Friday, the MAYHEM continues with Demolition Derby Night. There will be raffle tickets for purchase for a chance to drive a jeep in the Tuff truck style night on Saturday.
Saturday, the Tuff truck style night will take place with a course for cars, UTVs, trucks and SUVs. There will also be a 50/50 raffle.
All the raffles support the Western Nevada Grange No. 28.
