Carson Valley native and Reno High School graduate, Sullivan Cauley, has his next bout in Bellator lined up, according to the promotion.
His next opponent will be Tyson Jeffries at Bellator 284 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on August 12.
Jeffries – nicknamed ‘The Anti-Hero’ – has 25 professional fights under his belt and will be the most experienced opponent Cauley has faced to date.
Cauley last fought Jan. 29, defeating Ben Parrish and picked up his third first round stoppage in his three-fight professional career.
Since joining the promotion, Cauley is 3-0 with three wins via first round stoppage.
All three stoppages have come by strikes, despite Cauley’s wrestling background.
Jeffries holds a 14-11 record, but has been on the wrong end of two technical knockouts in his last two fights.
His last fight took place May 26, 2018, meaning it’ll be over four years since Jeffries last took a professional fight.
