Public Hearing
A meeting of the Douglas County Planning Commission will be held
on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 1:00 pm, in the Douglas County
Commissioner Meeting Room at the Historic Courthouse, 1616 Eighth
Street, Minden. The Planning Commission reserves the right to: take
items in a different order; combine two or more agenda items for
consideration; remove items from the agenda; and/or delay discussions
relating to an item on the agenda at any time.
The application(s) below will be considered under the Public Hearing
portion of the meeting. The Agenda and Staff Reports will be online prior

For possible action. A request for a Special Use Permit DP 22-0104 to
allow the use of Independent Congregate Senior Living Community and
Nursing and a convalescent, residential care facility in the MFR (MultiFamily Residential) zoning district in the North Douglas County Specific
Plan in the Indian Hills/Jacks Valley Community Plan. The subject parcel
is located south of Topsy Lane and east of Highway 395. The owners are
Riverwood Partners, LLC. (APN 1420-06-701-009).
