The Bookmobile will be making stops at the Minden and Gardnerville Farmers markets this summer.  
Every Wednesday 8:30-10:30 a.m. through July 27, the Bookmobile will be at the Sierra Chef Farmers Market in Gardnerville’s Heritage Park. 

At 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, July 5 and 19, catch the Bookmobile at the Minden Farmers Market.

The Bookmobile will also be at Ranchos Aspen Park 3 p.m. Fridays for storytime.  Storytime will be 10:30 a.m. Thursdays at the Minden Branch of the Douglas Public Library. 

• The Douglas County Public Library Summer Lego Challenge will partner with the UNR Extension in honor of National Pollinator Month. The theme of the challenge is “Pollinators.” The challenge runs through June 30 for children ages 6-12.  

• A curated Baby Lap-Sit Storytime for 6-18-month-old babies including stories, songs, and playtime at the Minden Branch begins 10:30-11 a.m. Wednesdays through July 27.  Stay home if you or your baby are feeling ill.

• Today marks the first of two movies at the Minden Branch.

At 10:30 a.m. “Aquaman” rated PG-13 will be shown. “Death on the Nile” will be the movie on June 18. Movies are sponsored by the Friends of the Douglas County Public Library.
