Genoa, Nev. — Vacation Home Rental Advisory Committee members have another long slog today with a discussion of the new ordinance required by a federal lawsuit settlement, four Tier 3 permits, an appeal of a $5,000 fine and discussion of revisions to the ordinance. The panel meets 1 p.m. today at the historic Douglas County Courthouse.
Douglas High School and the Carson Valley Chamber of Commerce are hosting a career and college day 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. today in the high school’s media center in Minden.
