The event features exhibits and demonstrations from Douglas County 4-H, Grange and FFA students including horsemanship, poultry, cattle, sheep, pigs and beehives, an exhibit of antique farm implements found on the property during renovations, roping demonstrations and free hayrides.
Inside the heated barn, local artisans will have hand-crafted items for sale, including turned wood, fine arts paintings and Zentangle art, natural soaps and lotions, jewelry, clothing and gift items, local honeys and jams, garden and home décor and more.
Hungry Hearts Nevada will be on-site for food purchases. Snacks, hot cocoa and beer donated by Shoe Tree Brewing Company will be sold to benefit ag education in Douglas County.
Ahern Rentals has donated a block of hay, including transportation of the hay, to raise money for the Douglas County 4-H Club, which will be auctioned off in a silent auction that begins at 10 a.m. The winner will be announced at 3:30 p.m.
