NOTICE OF CLOSE OF REGISTRATION FOR THE GENERAL ELECTION
Pursuant to NRS 293.560(3)(b), notice is hereby given, of the following voter registration deadlines for the November 8th, 2022, General Election:
Close of Standard Registration: October 11th
Deadline to register in-person or by mail is: Tuesday, October 11th.
DMV applications fall in this category. Mailed applications must be post-marked by this date. Anyone that registers through this period (and has not opted-out of the Mail Ballot Voting Program) will be mailed a ballot.
Extended Online Registration: October 12th-October 25th.
Voters with a Nevada Driver’s License or Identification Card may register to vote by visiting GoVoteDouglas.com or RegisterToVoteNV.gov no later than 11:59:59 pm, Tuesday, October 25th.
Anyone that registers on or before October 25th (and has not opted-out of the Mail Ballot Voting Program) will be mailed a ballot.
Online Same Day Registration: October 26th-November 8th.
Voters with a Nevada Driver’s License or valid, Identification Card may register to vote by visiting GoVoteDouglas.com or RegisterToVoteNV.gov.
Anyone that registers during this period is considered a same day registrant and must appear in person, either at the Historic Courthouse for a paper ballot, or at any early vote center or Election Day vote center to cast a ballot on an electronic voting machine.
o Same day registrants must present a valid Nevada DL/ID or Tribal ID and if
applicable proof of residency. Same day registrants may be required to vote a provisional ballot.
