A Stateline motorcyclist was killed on Monday night after the Harley-Davidson he was riding on Highway 4 in Alpine County missed a curve near Upper Cascade Creek.
The 36-year-old man’s identity has yet to be released by the Alpine County Coroner.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was riding east when he failed to negotiate the sharp curve in the highway. He went off the north side of the road and was trown, landing on the rocky dirt shoulder.
No other vehicle or parties appear to be involved.
Both the South Lake Tahoe CHP and Alpine County responded, and pronounced the man was dead at the scene.
