Highway 395 through the Pine Nuts was expected to reopen by 3:45 p.m. after a reported three-vehicle collision at 2:20 p.m. collision near Ray May Way in the Pine Nuts.

The highway was shut down for about an hour after first responders arrived at the scene of the collision that backed southbound traffic up past the summit of Jake’s Hill.

One vehicle was on its side and another off the road when rescuers arrived.

They helped two people out of the vehicle on its side. East Fork ambulance transported two occupants to Renown Regional Medical Center and a third.
