Douglas girls tennis match called early
Due to air quality, Douglas High girls tennis had its match with McQueen on Wednesday end early.
The Tigers and the Lancers were tied at 3-3 when play was halted.
UP NEXT: Douglas will host Spanish Springs and Wooster next week.

 Douglas girls’ soccer downs Damonte Ranch
The Douglas girls soccer team bested Damonte Ranch, 2-1, in Minden on Tuesday.
Aleeah Weaver found the back of the net and Kaylee Bradford added a goal of her own.
Seara MacPherson and Ava Coons were each credited with an assist.
Sky Rasmussen had a nice game as well and was mentioned by her coach postgame.
“Sky is a player who can play as a defender or midfielder. She has helped our team this year with finding balance … and in this game she continued to do so,” said head coach Andrew Robles.
UP NEXT: Douglas (5-3-1, 3-1-1 in league) is scheduled to take on McQueen (5-1-2, 2-0-2) Saturday in Reno at 12:30 p.m.

Tiger boys tennis edged by McQueen
The Douglas High boys tennis team just missed its first win of the season Tuesday, falling to the McQueen Lancers, 11-7.
Kolten Brown picked up a pair of wins on the singles court – 6-2, 6-0 – while Bennett Schoenemann and Brody Fontenot each added a set win.
In doubles, the pairing of Wyatt Frisby and Wade Kuhlmann combined for two wins as well by finals of 6-0 and 6-2.
Andrew Craig and David Alexander added the last point for the Tigers with a 6-2 win at the No. 3 doubles position.
UP NEXT: Douglas hits the road next week, traveling to Spanish Springs and Wooster.
