People lost without faith

My wife and I saw the movie “Jesus Revolution” a few weeks ago and what touched me was how some people today are just as lost and confused about where they fit into society today. Our young adults are not being discipled or taught about who they really are, some seem to be lost with no real direction. They don’t know what it is to have faith. Some people just see the world and how broken it has become. How did you wake up today? Were you confused or did you wake up with a song? Do you think about the goodness of the Lord or are you thinking about all the difficulties you will face at work or in your household? In Psalm 118:24 David says, “This is the day that the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it”. No matter what you have to face the Lord is still in control. Your success lies in your daily routines and how you handle them. Get to know God better through His word and prayer. Make up your mind to serve somebody or help them every day. Tackle your problems head on and encourage those around you. Take the first step in overcoming bad habits. Do something for somebody who can’t repay you. Change your thinking from “oh no”, its Monday to “thanks for another day”. The time to be happy is now and the place to be happy is here. You don’t need to wonder if its God’s will to be a blessing to someone, you know it is. I think the biggest obstacle we have in life is learning that this world is not just all about ourselves all the time. There will always be moments that we will be in need. Concentrate on the source of the solution. 1 Corinthians 10:13, “No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man, but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.” God wants you to be His resource and blessing. Serve those people who are lost and in need. Isaiah 41:10, “Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” This is a great day, be grateful and rejoice so the others can feel and see God’s love flowing through you. Blessing to you, Pastor Tim
