Thanks for supporting SB 412

Editor:

Thank you Paula Montanucci, District Attorney Mark Jackson, Sen. Robin Titus, and everyone else supporting the passage of Senate Bill 412, on behalf of our Sarita as well.  No doubt she and Fallon have met up and are cheering on efforts here below from the stadium on high.

Financial report interesting reading

Editor:

The Popular Annual Financial Report is recommended for women and men who know the value of a dollar.  This user-friendly 12-page document provides a concise summary of Douglas County’s finances.

Diving in, I found this information:

page 4 - Revenue increases were partly offset by a one-time investment loss of $ 3.2 million.

page 9 - Miscellaneous revenues were $ 1.1 million less than anticipated due to an unexpected investment loss.

While there is no guarantee all your questions will be answered, knowing the question is a good place to start. The PAFR for fiscal year ended June 30, 2022, was presented to the BOCC at the March 16, 2023 meeting as agenda item M, as in Millions.
