Genoa, Nev. — The county will be sealing roads starting with County Road today and heading out to Toler in Gardnerville on Friday and Monday. Expect some closures as workers fill cracks and holes in the roads.

After reviewing a complaint of an unlicensed Vacation Home Rental in the Glenbrook area of Lake Tahoe, Douglas County Code Enforcement has issued the following statement:
“Douglas County Code Enforcement has followed the standard procedures related to code complaints and cannot substantiate that a code violation occurred. We consider the matter closed at this time.”

The 19-weekend OLC world league (club) championship has finished, and Minden Soaring Club ran away with this one; 695 points with 2nd place at 492 points. Since Perlan Project Chief Pilot Jim Payne started coaching the Club, they have been world champions four years in a row.
