C-111 NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS

Invitation for Bids

The Indian Hills General Improvement District Board of Trustees

invites sealed proposals for the project entitled Indian Drive

Reconstruction and Utility Replacement, to be received at the Lumos

& Associates Carson City Office, located at 308 N. Curry Street,

Suite #200, Carson City, Nevada 89703, until 2:30 P.M. local time on

March 6, 2023 and then publicly opened and read aloud in the Lumos

Conference Room.

The project is in the Indian Hills General Improvement District, Douglas

County, NV and more specifically on Indian Drive and Vassar Street.

The proposed project includes the installation of approximately 1,600

linear feet new 8-inch PVC C900 waterline and 2,300 linear feet of new

8-inch and 12-inch SDR 35 sewer main, abandonment or removal of old

water line and sewer main in place, water service connections, sewer

lateral connections, new manholes, meter boxes, and fire hydrants.

Surface improvements include full road re-pavement and road striping

in Indian Drive, permanent patching in Vassar Street, sidewalk and curb

& gutter spot repair, and ADA improvements. The Engineer’s estimate is

approximately $2,100,000.

Construction on the project is anticipated to begin in July, 2023 and end

in November, 2023.

No pre-bid conference will be held.

Contract Documents may be examined and obtained on February 13,

2023 at 1:00 pm at the following location:

A non-refundable deposit of $25.00 will be charged to log into the plan

room to obtain each set of Plans and Contract Documents.

A bid security for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount must

accompany each proposal. Performance and payment bonds equal to

100% of the contract amount will be required upon award of the contract,

which is anticipated to be made on or about March 16, 2023. Prevailing

wages must be paid on this contract.
