Singer-songwriter and slide-guitarist David Jacobs-Strain will be accompanied by his longtime musical partner Bob Beach in Minden on March 10.
“I try to make art that you can dance to, but I love that darker place, where in my mind, Skip James, Nick Drake, and maybe Elliot Smith blur together,” Jacobs-Strain said of his work.
The Oregon performer is known for both his emotional abandon.
“David displays a range that ties him to his own generation and to guitar-slinger troubadours like Robert Johnson and Jackson Browne,” people have said of his work.
