Tickets are on sale now for the Genoa Western Heritage Days Town Hall Concerts and Progressive Dinner.
The concerts and progressive dinner are part of a three-day celebration of all things Western on April 28-30 in Nevada’s oldest town.
On April 28, Kristyn Harris, the 2022 International Western Music Association Entertainer of the Year, shares the stage with Ryan Fritz, whose original composition “Give A Boy A Rope’ won the 2018 Song of the Year award from the Pro Cowboy Country Artist Association.
The April 29 performance features cowboy poet Floyd Beard, three-time winner of the Male Poet of the Year from the International Western Music Association, and The Cowboy Way, with Doug Figgs.
Figgs was named IWMA Male Performer of the Year, and The Cowboy Way received the IWMA Group of the Year, in 2021.
Both concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Genoa Town Hall; tickets are $45 per concert.
Food lovers will enjoy the progressive dinner, which offers a nosh and libation at five of Genoa’s eateries. Diners rotate between restaurants in timed groups starting at 4:30 p.m. Tickets are $40 per person.
In addition to the ticketed events, Genoa Western Heritage Days offers a free daylong festival on April 29 with live music, art, historic reenactments, children’s activities and the inaugural Invitational Horse parade. More information is available at bit.ly/GWHD2023
