A Washoe County man is facing three felony counts related to a summer 2022 sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl.
Andrew David Dunn, 41, is facing two counts of sexual assault on a child under the age of 16 and one of child sexual abuse.
The two assault charges are A felonies and each carry a sentence of up to life in prison.
According to a warrant issued in December, Dunn was at a softball game with the girl where he routinely bought beer for the team.
She said he encouraged her to drink several beers before taking her home. The girl told investigators that she was drunk when Dunn asked for sex.
She believes that they stopped at a Gardnerville Ranchos park, where Dunn raped her.
Dunn was arrested on the warrant in Washoe County and transported to Douglas County on June 23.
He appeared in East Fork Justice Court on Wednesday with attorney Mary Brown where a July 14 preliminary hearing was set.
