A procession escorting the family and remains of Nevada Highway Patrol Lt. Lorin Correll travels south on Highway 395 on Friday evening.
On Friday, the Nevada State Police and first responders escorted the family of Nevada Highway Patrol Lt. Lorin Correll from Reno-Tahoe Airport to bring his remains home to Ruhenstroth.
The procession passed through Carson Valley with a motorcycle escort and first responders saluting as it passed.
Correll died while snorkeling with family and friends while on vacation in the Galapagos Islands, according to a Nevada State Police Union statement issued on June 29.
