It was a finish straight out of a fiction book Sunday at Edgewood Golf Course.

Stephen Curry trailed Mardy Fish by three points coming into the final hole.

After an errant Fish drive off the 18th tee – likely due to a fan scream in the middle of his backswing – opened the door for Curry.

Curry’s approach shot left him with roughly a 20-foot putt for eagle with a chance for the win.

The four-time NBA champion turned around to celebrate before his putt even dropped into the hole, much like his 3-point game.

After chucking his hat into the air, the 35-year-old point guard ran straight to his wife, Ayesha, joining in a long, enthusiastic embrace.
