Water Conveyance Advisory Committee

Public Hearing

A meeting of the Water Conveyance Advisory

Committee will be held on Monday, August

7, 2023, at 4:00 pm. The meeting will be

held at the Minden Inn, at 1594 Esmeralda

Avenue, Room 306, Minden, NV 89423.

The Water Conveyance Advisory Committee

reserves the right to: take items in a different

order; combine two or more agenda items for

consideration; remove items from the agenda;

and/or delay discussions relating to an item on

the agenda at any time. The final agenda will

be posted on the County’s website at http://

douglascountynv.gov.

The applications below will be considered

under the Public Hearing portion of the

meeting.

For possible action. Discussion and

possible action on irrigation, drainage and

water facilities which may be impacted by a

request to subdivide an existing 25.48 Acre

parcel into ten lots, with each lot being 2 Acres

in size as set forth in General Development

Application DP 23-0128. The site is located

at 1051 Foothill Road (APN: 1219-10-002-

069). The applicant is Resource Concepts,

Inc. representing the owner, Stefan Frass

Trust dated 2/24/2016.

For possible action. Discussion and

possible action on irrigation, drainage and

water facilities which may be impacted by

a request to remove an existing 48-Inch

diameter Corrugated Metal Pipe that is failing,

and replace it with a new 42-Inch diameter

Reinforced Concrete Pipe 36-Feet in length

across Dressler Lane as set forth in General

Development Application DP 23-0149. The

site is located in the road right-of-way adjacent

to 1045 Dressler Lane (APN: 1220-29-002-

001). The applicant is Douglas County Public

Works Department represented by Jon Erb,

PE.
