The Carson Valley Photo Club did a little something different for their July meeting.

Presenter Suzie Zemmerli also served as the judge for the meeting, which had 14 members in attendance due to July vacations.

Zemmerli offered a lesson on enhancing photos using Lightroom, using the entries in the monthly contest as examples, according to member Nancy Hulsey.

The theme for the monthly contest was ‘Red, White and Blue.’

“Congratulations to our winners for the month of July,” Hulsey said.

The Carson Valley Photo Club meets 6:30 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month at the Carson Valley United Methodist Church, 1375 Centerville Lane, Gardnerville.

“We welcome everyone who has an interest in photography,” Hulsey said. “Our monthly winners may be viewed at the Douglas County Library, The Record Courier and our Facebook site.”
