The East Fork Gallery Artists, wishing to foster Art education and development in the Carson Valley, is offering a new Student Consignment status This program gives the community further opportunity to enjoy locally created artwork by up-and-coming artists. This prospect is extended to high school and college artists.
Young artists will have the occasion to show and sell their work, be part of an art community and be mentored by professional artists.
Applications for student consignor-ship are available at the East Fork Gallery, 1512 Highway 395, Suite 4. Applications, with a sample of the student’s work will be reviewed by the EFG jury committee on Tuesdays, beginning in April. Any questions can be addressed to eastforkartists@gmail.com
First opened in July 1979 across from the J.T. Basque Bar & Dining Room, the artist’s co-op featured 13 original members, including James and Geraldine Lawrence.
