On 5/4/2023, the Douglas Count Board of
Commissioners ADOPTED the following
ordinance:
ORDINANCE: 2023-1615
TITLE: Ordinance 2023-1615, adopting an
Amendment to the Virginia Ranch Specific
Plan (DA04-155), within the Gardnerville
Community Plan. The amendment includes,
removing reference to the 10.5-acre School
Site, with Public Facility (PF) zoning without
increasing the total approved 1,020-unit
count, removing language stating, “parcels
less than 60’ wide must be rear loaded,”
and adding a private street section.
(Development Application DP 22-0226.)
The ordinance shall be in full force and effect
on May 18, 2023 and was adopted by the
following vote: AYE: Mark Gardner, Wes
Rice, Sharla Hales, Walt Nowosad, Danny
