The Douglas High girls golf team kicked off the two-day regional tournament Monday.
The Tigers are in the Class 4A North this season after winning back-to-back regional and state championships in Class 3A.
The regional tournament was hosted in Reno at Wolf Run Golf Club.

Tiger harriers compete at Clovis Invite
The Douglas High girls cross country team was 22nd of 31 competing teams at the Clovis Invitational over the past weekend.
Ayla Nelson and Lucy Nord were the top two finishers for the girls side, completing the meet in 21:05 and 21:09, respectively.
Niza Barton was just off their pace, crossing the line in 21:13.
Logan Axtell completed her meet in 21:31 while freshman Amy Van Wagenen finished in 22:55.
On the boys side, Douglas was 30th of 38 teams.
Luke Davis continued to lead the Tiger results, taking 48th overall in 16:45.
Dennis Jorgensen was the next to finish, posting a time of 18:03 while Sage Spencer stopped the timer at 18:30.
Joel Nord crossed the line in 18:51 and Samuel Gaskell finished in 20:03.
Tiger girls soccer draws against Damonte
A 1-1 draw was a quality result to build on for Douglas High School girls soccer Saturday.
The Tigers got the first goal of the game when Morgan Davis assisted Aleeah Weaver for her ninth goal of the season.
UP NEXT: Douglas (2-8-4, 1-2-1) will travel to Galena (6-6-2, 3-1-1) Saturday before facing off with Carson ( 2-6-2, 0-4) next Tuesday.
Douglas postseason team tennis plays Monday night
Douglas High School boys and girls tennis teams opened Class 5A postseason regional play Monday afternoon.
The Tiger boys opened as the No. 5 seed, playing at Spanish Springs.
Meanwhile, the fifth-seeded girls team took on No. 4 Galena.
